Probs with 3DConnexion & ObserverCam!!

Hi
I'm having trouble getting my 3D Connexion to work with ObserverCam in Maya. I have the most recent driver installed (I'm on a Mac) and have read your troubleshooting guide & removed the 3dx.mapping.mel out of Maya, But still no joy!....really desperate to test this demo out - if I could just get both 3DConnexion and Directors Tools to work together!
Any advice?

Hello Mayagirl and welcome to our forum.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention because that information is inaccurate. I will update the FAQ right away. Regarding your problem though, I'm afraid we don't have support for 3d connexion devices on Mac yet. We are looking into it but I don't think we'll be able to add support until early 2009. It works on PC but the driver is different on Mac so it needs to be redone and at the moment other things have higher priority I'm afraid.

Thats a real shame, as I gained the 3d connexion specifically hoping to test out your great plugin!
Is it possible to sign up for an email alert/newsletter to let me know when the mac friendly version becomes available.
I work in film previs with 22 other mac users, all very interested in using your plugins...so any mac updates would be very welcome.

Absolutely. You can sign up for our newsletter on our site. As a newsletter receiver you will get the latest information regarding our products as soon as it's available.
