I Need Help ASAP (Inverted Flight on Command)

I am in the business of simulating flight and coincidentally, crashes as well. In this case I'm flying a helicopter but I need to be able to control the roll of the helicopter side to side...not the physical left right movement or the vertical rotation...but the ROLL. Essentially my helicopter needs to go from flying upright to plummeting on it's left side to fully upside down when it impacts the ground. I know it must have something to do with tolerances etc...but it would be really nice if there was a simple way to do this as frame by frame animation REALLY isn't an option when you're talking about animation 4000+ frames. HELP! THANKS!
