craftdirectortoolsadaptor_3dsmax2015.gup failed to initialize error
I use 3dsmax 2015. I downloaded the trial version of craft director. I did the installation successfully. When starting 3dsmax, there is a "craftdirectortoolsadaptor_3dsmax2015.gup failed to initialize error(eror code 126) . What could be the reason for this?"

Hello firatturkel! That sounds bad! I'm not sure what have happened, Patrik Martin probably has more knowledge regarding this but until he can take a look at this, have you tried to re-install Craft Director Studio? Yeah. I tried to install the craft detector v17.3.2 and v16.2.1 over and over again. The same error occurred every time. Thanks for be interested.
In other postings similar errors have occurred, but none have been found.

craftdirectortoolsadaptor_3dsmax2015 gup failed to initialize error
Hi,
I tried to install the RenderpalV2 version on our farm everything went well.
But when I start RenderPal server, I get an error message saying: Unable to initialize the user manager.
The remote controller fails also. When I try to connect to the server the controller hangs on Challenging to remote server.
And then gives me an error message: A connection with the remote server could not be established: Challenging the target server failed
I also tried to reinstall everything, but I keep getting the same errors.
Is there a solution to fix this problem?

The issue you report is an issue we have encountered before, but i'm confused that you have received it on 17.3.2. The issue indicates it is missing the Visual Studio redistributable runtime .DLL-files necessary for the plugin to run. This have happened earlier when we by mistake have shipped our installer with a mismatching VS redistributable. However this is not the case in 17.3.2 and therefore i'm confused. During the installation, did you notice the VS-redistributable installation dialog flashing? It it visible for a few seconds, then disappears again. Can you see anything in the installation log if something goes wrong with the VS redist installer?

This is what I was thinking as well that it had to do with the VS-redistributable. However as Micael said it is included in the latest version of CDS so should be alright there.
