logitech Driving Force GT

I was wondering if the Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel worked? I searched the forums but there was very little, if any info on this subject. Is there a Steering wheel that someone can recommend? I figured a steering wheel would provide much more sensitivity then a game controller. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

As long as it can be connected to a PC, you should be ok. It appears to be designed for PS3 mainly, do you know if it can be used on a PC?
Generally, the rule of thumb is: If you can use the input device in a PC game, you can use with Craft Director Studio.

We have had some problems with particularly exotic variants of joysticks/steering wheels, but i don't think you should have any problems using this steering wheel with Craft Director Studio.

The Logitech Driving Force GT worked for the most part. The main issue still unresolved are the combo pedals. I tried applying the pedals separately as ABS brake and Gas Pedal acceleration but only the brake worked after tweaking the Advanced settings.
Brake Settings
CDS advanced settings:

Now if only I could get the acceleration pedal to work. I would like to see it work in combination with the pedal and Shifter for Gear changes or reverse(backwards), like a real car.
My Current Gas Pedal (forw/Back) are linked to the Shifter.

Has anyone else been successful with this setup? Any settings would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, Craft 4-Wheeler Extended currently has no support for simulating gear shifting. And i do recognize the problem with the gas/break pedal. You will have better luck with 4-Wheeler Free, as this version does have separate controls for throttle and reverse. But the extended version must see throttle and reverse as one axis.

I know that with some microsoft steering wheels you can specify in it's settings manager (go through the Control Panel and gaming devices) how you wish the pedals to behave. If your steering wheel has a similar toggle, try toggle it and see if you can come up with a solution that way.

I was having the same problem with the accelerator and ABS brake inputs. They seem to be transposed, so just enter the Logitech brake pedal in the Craft accelerator input and the Logitech gas pedal for the Craft ABS brake input and it should work fine. Not ideal but it works.
