I've got a project to work on where I need to take some models from a colleague who is working in Max. From Max I'm going to take a car model and some roads and buildings. I want to put these into Maya and rig the vehicle through craft director studio. I then need to animate the car and add cameras and then move these back to Max (I would do it in Max but I dont know how to use it and the project deadline is too short to learn now.)
it seems in my first tests that scale is going to prove to be an issue - Can anyone give some tips on what I need to do to make sure the models go back and forth at the correct scale.
Also will a car rigged in Craft in Maya still work as a rigged car in Craft when I move it to Max?
Thanks.

Re: Moving files between max and maya
Hi Makkster,
There is unfortunately no simple way to move the CDS metaobject between Max and Maya right now. Closest thing would be to save the rig as a prm (go the the CDS main menu and click "Save selected"). Then open it up in the other host application, insert it (using Browse menu item in CDS main menu) and re-rig the model.
