Hi,
Can we have a regular speedometer. I know there is a setting current velocity in meters per second. Can we have miles per hour or km per hour plus nice digital speedometer on the screen like madcar has. Thanks

The second request:
1. Can we add terrain into the dialog so we don't have to link it.
2. A lot of the times we only have one terrain in the scene and lots of craft cars .Can we have an option in the dialog to autolink all new created/imported craft cars to the main terrain (each car will still have local terrain override if needed).

In the config of the 4-wheeler you have
Image

The "Current Velocity" a value that is calculated like the following:

Code: Select all

(scene units per second) * (the set multiplier value) = current velocity value
So what this means is that you can get out the values you like it to show by adding the correct multiplier value...

Desired Velocity Value | Scene Unit setting | Setting for Multiplier to get desired value

kmh | meters | 3.6
kmh | centimeters | 0.036
kmh | feet | 1.09728
kmh | inch | 0.09144

mph | meters | 2.23693629
mph | centimeters | 0.0223693629
mph | feet | 0.681818182
mph | inch | 0.0568181818

it's still a pain to look at that little screen and trying to convert numbers to miles per hour and steer a car. Please add a big readable m/h and km/h display like madcar has. You have feet, inches etc but not basic miles per hour
Also please add a cruise control that way we can use steering wheel to steer but the car will max out at the speed we tell it too so we dont have to watch the speed (like highways we want it to go between 65-70 m/h no more. So cruise control will keep the car at the speed no less than 65 no more than 70). I know you have car max speed but we have to constantly readjust guessing max speeds. Plus max speed of a car and cruise control max speed should be two different settings.

Thanks for clarifying, good suggestions. I hope we can do something with this in the not too distant future.
