a little question about tank parade...

Hello there, i just registered in this forums. First off, let me tell you that your product is amazing. Best plug-ins ever . I just got the trial bundle and looking forward to purchase it.

With that being said, I'm trying to animate a russian tank parade . I went through all the rigging process and everything was fine, BUT I don't really want to rig EVERY tank in the parade and I was wondering how can I clone all I got. I mean, once I have one tank rigged and ready to be animated, how can i make clones of that tank so i don't have to clone and parent everything again. ¿Is it possible to make a clip of that animation and use it later on another tank? I have so many questions about this amazing product...

Hope you guys can help me because I've looked in the forums but I don't seem to find what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance

PS:I use Maya 2008 BTW...

Hello Lordof and thank you for your kind praise.

You can use the clone option which I've showed below to clone your tanks. The clone option will clone the selected tool and all of its children in the plug-in tree list. So make sure that your entire rig is gathered in one tree before cloning it.

Cloning tool(s) in Craft Director Tools will NOT clone the animation. If you want, you can copy over the key frames manually in Maya. Just keep in mind that if you try to record any new animation for a tool that you've added key frames for manually, those key frames will be overwritten.
