So, yes they are creating the same effect.
There is two ways of applying gravel shake effect to the rig.
- By adding a value to "Gravel Shake Offset Value" under "General Parameters" or
- By using an input device
- (or in conbination)
Gravel shake just now = Gravel Shake Offset Value + Gravel Shake Amplitude

Which one of those two ways do you recommend, Patrik? Or is it all the same?

It depends. First of all in either case I would always have a small value on the "Gravel Shake Offset Value" under "General Parameters" depending on what fits my animation on the intended terrain I drive on. However, if you are to drive on different surfaces (shade differently) in the same animation you might what to use an input to apply more shake in parts of your animation.
