How to change the Max speed of the car?

Hi I am testing the 4 Wheeler Ext with Autonomous Mode in Maya (2012x64).
Since our car is in real world scale the WheelerExt_CarBodyMeshTransform is scaled to about 500. (we keep Maya's default unit: cm) It seemes to mess up the max speed and the car can't drive fast enough to follow the TargetMesh. Are there settings in the 4 Wheeler system that is unit-sensitive? What configuration should I change so the World Space Maximum Velocity Gauge makes sense?

Hi, I am having the same problem with the 4-wheeler ext, no parameters that I change alter the speed of the car rig following the target mesh. my evaluation period has expired, so I used the create tab that provides 'limited functionality' is this a causing the speed to be restricted? my scene scale is in meters and the scale of the rig has not changed from the default.

thanks for any help

Dan.

Hi again, I changed the profile for 4-wheeler ext to 'autonomous mode - standard' (originally I had it on sports car) and this seemed to help a few settings needed tweaking but the speed of the car increased.
hopefully this should help

Dan

Actually it does not mess up the max speed. What you need to do is to change the Gas Pedal (Forw/Backw) value in the Input properties group in the configuration for the 4-Wheeler Ext to a higher value.
