4 Wheeler Speed Issues
Hello!
I'm having an issue with my 4 wheeler is not keeping up with the CarriageNode. As the CarriageNode begins, the 4 wheeler jumps with the node but the Carriage continues to pull away. Looking at the Gauges, the current velocity is 35mph and it reaches 100% of max velocity. My 4 wheeler is set to autonomous and the following setting options.
Follow Strength - 10
Follow Strength Response Factor - 1
Auto-Steering Responce Factor - .2
Ignore Sphere Radius - .5
Is there a set max velocity parameter?
Thanks!

Re: 4 Wheeler Speed Issues
Hello. I figured out the issue. I adjusted the Gas Pedal response factor and the car operates correctly. Thanks!

Yes, the probolem is often that the 4-Wheller does not catch the target becouse it has to low maximum velocity value. To raise this adjust the Gas Pedal (Forw/Backw) Maximum under Input properties.
The Gas Pedal (Forw/Backw) Response factor is the acceleration and can also be of interest to adjust to better suit the needs.

What did you change the Gas Pedal response factor from/to?

Hi I can't seem to link the Craft car rig to so that it works with the carriage node? Can someone help with how to get it linked please.

1. The 4-Wheeler Extended has a mesh called TargetMesh this mesh is what you link to the CarrigeNode.davesturchcgi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 12:11 pmHi I can't seem to link the Craft car rig to so that it works with the carriage node? Can someone help with how to get it linked please.
2. In order for the 4-Wheeler Extended to follow the TargetMesh (that now is following the CarrigeNode) you need to active "Autonomous mode" in the 4-Wheeler Extended's configuration.
