Rig merge doesn't work in Max 2022

I am having a problem with the Craft Director Studio v21.1.3 in 3ds Max 2022.3.3. The problem is that I cannot merge created rig to the new file. I previously worked with this plugin in 3ds Max 2021, and everything worked fine, but it doesn’t work in 3ds Max 2022. There are steps to reproduce:
1. Open 3ds Max 2022
2. Start Director Studio and add 4WheelerExt to the scene
3. Save 3ds Max file.
4. Reset 3ds Max.
5. Merge all objects from previously saved .max file
6. Start Director Studio to find that there is no 4WheelerExt rig even all objects have been merged.

In previous versions of 3ds max I was able to see merged rigs in Director Studio. I just checked how it works in Max2021 and it works fine. I am having problem in Max2022.

Hi,

Yes, we can confirm that the behavior that you are describing, however, it does work but it does not show in the CDS window. If you save the merged file and then open it again you can see that the rig is indeed in place.

We are going to have a look at the issue any try to solve as soon as we can.

Thank you for the work around solution. I will use this trick until the fix released.

I just want to confirm that we still have a problem to merge CA objects in newer versions of 3ds Max.
3ds Max 2021 - Works fine
3ds Max 2022 - Doesn't work
3ds Max 2024 - Doesn't work
