Error - CraftDirectorTools_CreateUI

Post by alexfrancisva » Wed May 06, 2009 6:15 pm

Hii.. i am using maya 32 & 64 bit versions. I installed Both and Craft Director Tools v8.1.8. But in Maya there's no "CraftMayaAdaptor2008.mll" in plug-ins Manager. I searched for it. Its located in (for 32 bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Maya2008\bin\plug-ins\bin\plug-ins) (For 64bit - C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2008\bin\plug-ins\bin\plug-ins). Then i locate the file myself in plug-in manager. But this message appears in script editor (// Error: Cannot find procedure "CraftDirectorTools_CreateUI"). Any suggestions...........

It seems you've gotten an extra \bin\plug-ins\ folder for some reason. Try moving all the content in "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2008\bin\plug-ins\bin\plug-ins" to "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2008\bin\plug-ins\" and the same with the 32-bit folder and see if there's any change.

Make sure Maya isn't running when you're doing this.
