Re: scaling issue, My car is longer how to match it?!
Hello You don´t need to edit the vertexpoints on your Craft dummy, just scale and move the body and wheels to match your hi-res car body as close as possible. If it doesn´t match 100% it´s okay anyway (the wheels are most important that they match) but not the car body itself. You can scale in every...

Thanks Patrik :D I really hope that Lou will be willing to do this, it would be a great moment for all Craft users out there. And to give away the DVD/movies for free, well, good thing of course but I am sure of that people will buy it to, at least I would, no questions asked  Regards Stefan ht...

Request on the upcoming Workshop in LA
I got a invitation mail regarding the Siggraph Workshop at Sheraton Los Angeles. From what I can see, Luigi should hold in a workshop using advanced features in Craft Animation's Craft Director Tools on Thursday, August 14. 09:00 am - 10:00 am Advanced Rigging Techniques - Rigging a modern tank with...

Re: Collision
Well I think it will take more than 24 hrs to inplement the collision feature :) I can say that you won´t regret to buy a copy of the plugin. The plugins are being processed with new features and fixes all the time. And I think that you can get a new 24 hrs period when a new build is out but not bef...

Re: Key reduction
Well, the thing with every plugin with Craft Tools is just that it´s build to be so accurate and close to the real world as possible with dynamics, pshysics and so on. So yes, there is a lot of keyframes being build when you animate, it needs to be. But the more keyframes you decide to delete from d...

Re: Collision
Yes, maybe that is true that reactor isn´t the best option to use. You can use the shape collision with a deform operator in Thinking Particles 3 but in that case you of cource would need to have TP... Yes, maybe the engine does support collisions as it is right now, but they have many things going ...

Re: MERGE
As far I know you have to link up your model again after it´s merged into another scene. Maybe you can merge the other scene into the Craft scene?
Also, instead of posting 4 different questions on the forum, maybe you can put all of your questions in one post?

Hello Carl
And thanks for the reply! Is it only the AMX-30 Roland and the M1A Abrams tank models that needs to be updated or even the others?

Re: Craft crawler tracks not showing up
Hello Regarding Crawler Tracks, if I download the "new" package right now, v8.1.8, will that include Crawler Tracks for x64? Just asking because I don´t see any news about it and v8.1.8 has been available since feb 28. Also, PhysX drivers are available for x64, when NVidia bought AEGIA they did driv...

Re: Craft Airplane Extended tutorial?
Soon I hope ;) I am recording a few tutorials for Craft Tools. Right now I only have 2 and 4-wheeler done and doing Crawler Tracks right now but that tutorial is "on ice" due Craft will release a new version soon. There is already a tutorial made for 4-wheeler so I guess mine doesn´t fit in ;) But I...

Also, if you need a suface that is deformed, just use a noise modifier or something on the plane object!

Re: ground collision
Hello When you create a Craft 4-wheeler helper, under the car, you will see a green arrow called GravityDirectionMesh. That arrow needs to be linked to your ground plane. When you have linked it and pressed the record button, the car will "fall down" to your ground object and then follow the surface...
