I agree that this is not functioning that well for bigger jumps. We did have a different jump function before the current and might be better suited. We will check to see if we can add this in again as an option.

I think you guys should improve terrain support. We also use madcar 3 and it never has this problem. We have made an extra check and noticed that there is a strange behavior with the trial license. If you hit evaluate it actually start the trial and it is installed however you do not get any notification about this at all. So once you have clicked "Evaluate" just close the window and create a new ...

This "freezing" issue most often happens when you have a license pointer that is not able to connect to the license server. Do you have a license server pointer in your license folder? If so, try to move it away for the license folder and try again to start 3ds max with "craftdirectortoolsadaptor_3d...

As longs as the controller is recognized by Windows it should be able to be recognized by CDS. One thing that you need to keep in mind is to make sure that the controller is turned on before starting the 3d program/CDS and once it is turned off it will not be recognized unless the controller is turn...

ok it looks like we fixed it. The train terrain mesh was created on an angle because the train is moving downhills. So we had to create a cube alighted to the origin and then attached terrain mesh to the cube in edit poly. I guess craft needs terrain mesh to be perfectly aligned with world space Gl...

For game export in mind it is better to use constraints for position (translation) and orientation (rotation) instead of making the parts children of the rig. Turn of "Realistic Airplane Control" in the configuration under "Airplane Modes" for the Airplane Extended and it should behave quite a bit better.

The "Realistic Airplane Control" is better when driving manually.

Yes, this can cause some issues sometimes.

My suggestion is to copy the terrain, delete the areas that are not to be used for the calculation and use this as a ground for the simulation.
