I'm pretty sure it was, unfortunately though the scene later crashed and when I re-opened it the connection to many of the parts was broken. I've since started again. Can I ask another question? Actually, to add further to this - the tread moved for the first few frames but then stopped entirely.

I've managed to succesfully rig a tank using crawler EXT, Extra wheels, cog wheels and crawler track. I created a movement for the the tank body and wheels and then created the treads when the tank was sitting on the ground. Is it possible to pop a wheelie?

I'm playing around with the 2 wheeler extended and was wondering if it's possible to configure the bike so I can pull wheelies? "Most turrets actually have two joints, one being the tower controlling yaw, then the barrel only controlling pitch. Yes that would be great. I have since re set up the scene so I'm no longer using any constraints anywhere. I've now learnt that the problem is likely to be the way in which I attached the wheels. I like to use parent constraints and from another thread on this forum it seems that this will cause Maya to crash when you record. I'll give straightforward parenting a try and see if that resolves the issue.
