Driving in snow

Hello-
I would like to have my car's tires be sinking in the snow a little bit, rather than driving on top of the snow covered ground. What settings do I change for this effect? Thanks!

Floating license?

Hi-
Is there a way to have a floating license? I have an emergency deadline and have to work at home today. My license resides on my work computer. Can I transfer to home for a few days? Please advise, thanks!

Re: Car not driving on ground level throughout some of animation

My ground is actually a quad patch that I pulled vertices on (in soft selection) to create the hill.
Let me strip my file and see how big it is. I'll send you an e-mail with it, or ftp it and send you the link. Thanks.

Car not driving on ground level throughout some of animation

Hi-My car will not stay on the ground for my whole animation. I've tried increasing the rays a few times, and resimulating but that doesn't help. I have a flat ground, with one small hill in it. My car starts on the ground in frame one, then rises up and rides above the ground and then when it reach...

Re: Align car to steep road

Any other solutions? The car is still just moving along a straight ground level. Right now I have no ground plane, since I wanted the car to follow my nurbs spline instead.
Is my target mesh supposed to be linked to something?

Re: Align car to steep road

I am having the same type of problem. I wasn't able to view the sample video above, but I am using autonomous mode, and want my car to go up and down a few curves (hills). The Green target mesh moves along the spline, up and down, but the car follows in a straight line, as if it's on a flat road, an...

Starting a new animation, deleting old keyframes?

Once I've recorded an animation, but want to do an entirely new one with my same car and rig, how can I get rid of the existing one and start over? I tried just re-recording over my old one but Max started going VERY slow and didn't seem to like this. I couldn't seem to delete the old keyframes eith...

Re: 4-wheeler_extended: Wheels not rotating correctly?

Regarding the steering wheel reacting with the steering of the wheels, I didn't understand what I am supposed to link to. I couldn't find any parts in the 3WheelerExt rig called _01_RelativeCageMeshTransform or DirectInputLink_01_ActuatorMesh. Please explain further? Thank you.

Re: non-rotating front-wheel parts (e.g. brakes)

WIth this method, were the brakes grouped in the wheel group? I am just starting learning today, and see that you have to have 5 groups (4 wheels and the chasis). Thanks.
